Blasts damage rail tracks in Sindh

At least two people were injured when two bombs exploded near railway track in Baloch Colony, Karachi. DS Railway Aftab Memon said that the blast caused minor damage to the track.

The railway authorities repaired the temporary track while the down track will be repaired soon. The injured have been shifted to hospital.

Minutes later, two minor blasts took place on railway track in Hussainabad area in Hyderabad. Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) said that the blasts caused mild damage to up and down track.

In Nawabshah, an explosion occurred near railway track in Nawaz Dahiri area, damaging track. Similarly, miscreants tried to destroyed rail track in Mehrabpur by bomb. No one was injured in the blast.

A railway track between Ghotki and Pannu Aqil also damaged when two planted bombs exploded near Mohammad pur. The blasts disrupted the rail traffic.

Police and Bomb Disposal Squad reached to the blasts sites and started investigation. Police said that all these blasts were similar in nature, causing damage to the track but no casualties.
