Judge of Anti Terrorist Court No. 1, Muhammad Akram Awan also ordered medical test of the accused before giving him in the custody of Kohsar Police, Islamabad.

Earlier, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, citing security reasons, issued notification for moving the ATC to the sector G-7 of the federal capital.

The accused was presented before a senior judge of ATC Akram Awan who cancelled the Chief Commissioner’s order for moving the court.

Judicial Magistrate on Wednesday had handed over Mumtaz Qadri to police for one-day transit remand.
