At least 18 people lost their lives in two unmanned air strikes in Mir Ali, the main town of North Waziristan.
The first missile attack apparently took place at 1020 am in Mir Ali, killing six people, when the vehicle was targeted.
The unmanned aircraft fired four missiles on a vehicle. The vehicle was destroyed in the attack.
The local rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies for burial. The identity of the victims could not be immediately ascertained.
Minutes later, another missile strike targeted another vehicle in the same area, killing at least 12 people.
