According to railway authorities, a railway official found a bomb from a bogy during checking Shah Rukn-e-Aalam train early in the morning.

The box contained 10 kg explosives and a timer.

The explosives recovery caused panic among passengers. According to District Officer Civil Defence Shahid Pervez, the explosives could have caused heavy losses if they had exploded.
