He unveiled the package at the meeting of Quetta Development Authority-QDA held here under his chairmanship at the QDA office. Secretary urban planning and development department Naseer Ahmed Baloch, DG QDA Aftab Ahmed Jamal and other concerned senior officials attended the meeting.
The minister said that the government was utilising its all available resources for constructing roads, parks, flyovers and underpasses keeping in view the rapid growing of population in the provincial capital.
The participants of the meeting reviewed the shifting of dairy farm and timber depot, and earmarking land for setting up rescue centre in the city.
Speaking on the occasion, the DG QDA assured the minister that his department would extend its full cooperation to the urban planning ministry for providing land for establishing proposed rescue centre and park, and constructing houses at Darakhshan Housing Scheme in the city.
Later, the provincial minister for urban planning visited and inspected the site of Darakhshan Housing Scheme.
