In a meeting with a delegation of GTZ here, he said the impression was totally wrong that the Education Ministry has some way or the other has lost its interest in the policy.
He said the Cabinet wanted more input from the provinces as the policy would ultimately be implemented by the provinces.
The Minister said reminders have already been sent to the Provinces and he would also talk to Provincial Chief Ministers, asking them to communicate their views, recommendations in the shortest possible time.
Bijrani said he also plans to hold an emergency meeting of Inter Provincial Minister’s within two weeks so that the education policy can be finalized and implemented.
The matters related to the development of curriculum, training abroad, textbooks development also came under discussion.
