Gold prices in Pakistan have experienced a significant increase, mirroring a rise in international markets.

The All Pakistan Sarafa and Jewelers Association (APSA) reported that the price of gold jumped by Rs2,900 per tola on Wednesday, following a two-day decline.

The new price stands at Rs280,800 per tola, while the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs2,487 to Rs240,741.

This surge follows a rise in the international gold price, which increased by $29 per ounce to reach $2,690.

The increase comes after a decrease of Rs 1,400 per tola and Rs 1,201 per 10 grams yesterday.
