Minister Abdul Aleem Khan says privatization aims to ease financial burden on national treasury
Federal Minister for Privatisation, Board of Investment, and Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, emphasized that the aim of privatizing government entities is to alleviate the ongoing financial burden on the national treasury.
During a meeting of the Privatization Commission Board, which he chaired, Khan asserted that the privatization process must adhere strictly to existing laws and regulations, with no deviations allowed. He indicated that a revised strategy for the privatization of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) would be implemented based on previous experiences.
