The meeting of the delegation of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif regarding Madrasa Registration Bill is ongoing.

According to the sources, Senator Kamran Murtaza and Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hyderi, who are part of the JUI delegation, are also participating in the meeting, while the government delegation includes Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Law minister Azam Nazir Tarar, Information Minister Atta Tarar and Rana Sanaullah.

Sources say that Maulana Fazlur Rahman will inform about the consultation with the Ulama on the Madrasas Registration Bill.

Earlier yesterday, there was a big development on the Madrasah Registration Bill issue that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif contacted the head of Jamiat Ulema Islam (F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman and invited him for a meeting.

After contacting the Prime Minister, Maulana Fazlur Rehman contacted Mufti Taqi Usmani and consulted about the meeting.

Maulana will approach the Madrasahs for consultation if new proposals are given by the Prime Minister.
