K-Electric takes strict action against defaulters
K-Electric has intensified its efforts to combat power theft and address outstanding dues by disconnecting electricity connections for defaulters in Nazimabad, Karachi.
According to a K-Electric spokesperson, the disconnections are a response to unpaid bills that have accumulated to over Rs1.7 billion.
Despite repeated assurances from the defaulters, the dues remain unpaid, prompting the utility company to take decisive action.
The spokesperson further noted that the duration of load-shedding in the area is directly influenced by the extent of electricity theft and associated losses.
