WhatsApp beta unveils new light, dark themes
WhatsApp has released a new beta update for Android users, introducing refreshed light and dark themes.
This update, version 2.24.24.30, is currently available to select beta testers through the Google Play Beta Program.
The updated design features black accents in the light theme, replacing the previous light blue, while the dark theme now showcases white accents.
These changes enhance the app’s modern appearance and help distinguish between WhatsApp Messenger and WhatsApp Business.
Additionally, the WhatsApp Business logo has been simplified to just “WhatsApp,” aligning with the minimalist aesthetic of the new design.
This update mirrors similar changes made to the iOS version of WhatsApp, further enhancing visual consistency across platforms.
