The government has announced winners of the Rs1,500 denomination national prize bond draw held on November 15, 2024, in Rawalpindi, according to the State Bank of Pakistan.

It was this year’s fourth draw for an Rs1,500 prize bond, shows the central bank data. Many people have invested in lottery bonds.

A lucky person holding bond number 633542 won the first prize of Rs3,000,000 while people holding bond numbers 163958, 589006, and 881670 won the second prize of Rs1,000,000 each.

Moreover, Rs18,500 each was awarded to 1,696 prizes. Below is the list:

Earlier this year, the federal government imposed a fixed tax of up to 20% on winnings from prize bonds and lotteries. According to media reports, a fixed tax rate of 15% would be applicable on winnings from prize bonds or crossword puzzles.

It has also imposed a 20% tax rate on winnings from raffles, lotteries, and prizes won from quizzes conducted for promotion of sales.
