Punjab university student dies by suicide after failed romance
A student from Punjab University allegedly died by suicide following a failed romantic relationship.
According to sources, the deceased, identified as Umm-e-Habiba, took her own life last night in Hostel No. 8 at Punjab University.
The family of the deceased stated that they do not suspect anyone and do not wish to have an autopsy conducted on her body.
After the parents refused to take any action, the police handed over the body to the family following legal procedures.
The family then took the body back to their hometown for burial.

The police reported that the student committed suicide due to a failed love affair.
The deceased was a fifth-semester student at the Institute of Education and Research and was said to be from Sialkot.
