Father and grandfather of an 18-year-old girl were arrested on Wednesday for allegedly raping her in Punjab’s Jaranwala, police said.

According to police, the victim, Madihah, lives with her father and grandfather following the death of her mother. The accused were allegedly involved in brutal violence against the girl, inflicting severe physical harm, including pulling her fingernails.

Police stated that the suspects forced the victim to engage in drug trafficking activities. The investigation is under way as authorities seek to gather more evidence in the case.
