Pakistan armed forces tri services team win five medals at CISM
Pakistan Armed Forces tri-services team has won five medals at the fourth CISM-International Military Sports Council- held in Caracas, Venezuela, the military’s media wing said.
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations said that the World Military Cadet Games are being held from August 16 to 24.
Pakistan Armed Forces contingent is participating in track, field and shooting events.
“CISM Pakistan Armed Forces tri-services team has won five medals in the event; a gold medal in the 400m race and silver medal in the 200m race by Chief Warrant Officer Mueed Bloch, Pakistan Air Force and a Bronze Medal in 5000m race and Silver Medal in 10000m race by Sep Muhammad Akhtar, Pakistan Army. In 25 Meter pistol shooting rapid team events category, Nk Qasim Bilal, Sepoy Ismail Khan and Sepoy Muhammad Rashid of Pakistan Army won the Silver Medal,” the statement said.
The chairman joint chiefs of staff committee and all services chiefs congratulated the team on its “remarkable performance.”
