Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party leader killed in Hafizabad
Unidentified armed men opened fire and killed Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party leader Zaigham Sultan Tarrar in the area of Kolo Tarrar near the city of Hafiz Abad in Punjab.
The perpetrators managed to flee the scene.
Tarrar was traveling by car to his village of Kot Ishaq when near Kolo Tarrar, unknown armed men indiscriminately opened fire on his vehicle, resulting in instant death.
The police report stated that after the murder, the perpetrators took advantage of the darkness of the night and managed to escape.
A heavy police contingent has reached the site, taken the body into custody, and launched raids to arrest the suspects.
