Armed men attack Duki coal mine, 5 injured
Armed individuals launched an attack on laborers in the coal mines in Duki owned by Sardar Mir Usman Tarin, Balochistan, a, resulting in five casualties, including two security guards.
When the armed assailants initiated the assault in the mines area, an exchange of fire took place between private security guards and the attackers.
According to authorities, during this exchange, two private security guards and three laborers sustained injuries and were immediately transferred to the hospital.
The attackers managed to escape during the firing by the guards.
Following the incident, a significant number of police personnel and law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area and commenced a search operation to apprehend the culprits.
Last week, unidentified armed individuals attacked a residential quarter near the Fish Harbor Jetty in Gwadar district, Balochistan, resulting in the loss of seven lives and one person injured.
The deceased and injured individuals were residents of Khanewal district in Punjab and were employed at a barbershop.
