Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government cuts roti price to Rs15
200-gram roti rate reduced from Rs35 to Rs30
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decreased the 100-gram price of roti from Rs20 to Rs15, a day after the Punjab government slashed the naan price to Rs16.
According to KP Food Minister Zahir Shah Toro, the price of 200-gram roti was reduced from Rs35 to Rs30.
On Sunday, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz decreased the roti price from Rs20 to Rs16 across the province.
Asim Raza, the Pakistan Flour Mills Association chairman, attributed the slash in prices to the decrease in the price of wheat.
