Rana Sanaullah thinks Mohsin Naqvi can also become president
PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah has said that Mohsin Naqvi, the Pakistan Cricket Board chairman, can also become the president of Pakistan only if the latter desires.
“I have seen that he [Mohsin Naqvi] wanted to become the Punjab CM, he became that; he wanted to become the PCB chairman after relinquishing the CM post, he became that; he wanted to become the interior minister, he became that; he wanted to become senator, he became that. If he says he wants to be the president, so he will be that,” Sanaullah said in an interview with Shaukat Piracha on Aaj News show Rubaroo aired on Friday.
The PML-N leader was responding to a question related to his past statement where he said that Naqvi could also become the prime minister.
Sanaullah clarified that he did not say that. The former interior minister added that he had only asked a counter question to a question at a news show.
He supported his point by saying that if a person can serve in so many positions then why he cannot be the prime minister?
“He [Naqvi] has gained in front of you. He got what he desired. It will be good if he does not want anything else. If he wants anything else so he will be that. The point is that you tell me when he wanted to become caretaker CM there was no reason for it. He desired that.”
