Showers predicted in Balochistan as Karachi receives drizzle
Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted cold and overcast weather across the country on Sunday. However, some parts of the country are expected to receive rain along with thunderstorms.
PMD said southern and western Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and adjoining high-altitude areas can receive rain.
Several areas of Balochistan received rain in the previous 24 hours including Gwadar (21 mm), Turbat (10mm) and Panjgur (2mm)
Meanwhile light rain has also been predicted in Karachi.
Karachi
Several areas including Nazimabad, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Tariq Road and Bahadurabad received light rain on Sunday afternoon.
PMD said that the weather will remain cloudy throughout the day with temperature hovering around 19 degrees.
Meanwhile, winds of upto 15km/h are expected to blow in Karachi. Humidity will remain at 33%.
Punjab
The weather in Punjab is also predicted to remain cold and cloudy . However, PMD said that light rain can take place in multiple areas including Mianwali, Khushab, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Layyah, Attock, Rawalpindi and Galliyat.
