ECP tells province to stay on high alert
CEC calls chief secretaries to ensure security
The Election Commission of Pakistan has told provinces to keep security on high alert on the eve of general elections in the country.
Chief Election Commissioner Sikander Sultan Raja called the chief secretaries of all provinces on Wednesday, telling them that strict security arrangements must be made for the polls.
The call comes after twin blasts in Balochistan killed atleast 29 people a day before elections.
