At least four people, including a woman, were killed and three got injured when unidentified men opened fire on a passenger van in Parachinar town of the Kurram in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the district police officer said.

Police said that the vehicle was travelling to Kohat.

Last month, a transgender person was gunned down by unidentified assailants in the Faqeerabad area of Peshawar.

According to police, the victim was on his way in the limits of Faqeerabad police station when unidentified men on motorcycle opened fire killing him on the spot.
