Temperature drops as parts of Karachi receive rain

Parts of Karachi received rain on Saturday as the temperature dropped amid a cool breeze in the metropolitan.

Gulshan-e-Iqbal received heavy rain while light rainfall was recorded in Defence, Clifton, and its surrounding areas.

Similarly, Tariq Road, Bahadurabad, Azizabad, Liaquatabad, M.A. Jinnah Road, and National Stadium Road also received light showers.

Earlier, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) had predicted rain with thunderstorms in Karachi and other areas of Sindh.

As per the forecast, the weather was expected to remain cloudy in the metropolitan city while the rain will drop the temperature.

Met Office said that the minimum temperature of Karachi is likely to remain at 17 degrees Celsius while winds will continue to blow from the northeast and east.
