All-rounder Abdul Razzaq became a target of trollers with his recent remarks about Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai which he passed while analyzing the performance of the national cricket team in World Cup 2023.

Abdul Razzaq’s statement about Aishwarya was appreciated unapologetically by his colleagues who were sitting on the stage with him, Umar Gul, Shahid Afridi, and others clapped after he described ‘Neyat’ with an example of a Bollywood actress.

“If you think that by marrying Aishwarya Rai a good and pious kid would be born, it would never happen,” Razzaq said.

His statement sparked anguish among netizens and they are terming his words as ‘Shameful’.

Social media users also expressed outrage on players who appreciated him.

X users belonging to India said: “Built some school in Pakistan. High time!”

Some said: “This is not a statement it’s pure third class mindset.”

Using this analogy, Razzaq emphasized the value of sincerity within the cricket board and recommended that the PCB maintain a steadfast dedication to player development.
