Disappointed cricket fans expect Abrar’s magical bowling in next match
After losing three important matches of World Cup 2023, Abrar Ahmed’s entry into the national team is being speculated over social on Thursday.
The 25-year-old has been a notable performer for Pakistan since his Test debut in Multan against England back in December. Since Abrar’s debut, he has 38 wickets to his name with an average of 3.63, including two fifties and one 10-wicket per match.
Pakistan cricket team has lost three matches out of five they played in the biggest tournaments and defeat from Afghanistan appeared as a disappointment to fans.
Pakistan’s cricket fans also want Abrar in the next clash between Pakistan and South Africa tomorrow. On social media, netizens share and want to see Abrar’s participation in the World Cup squad and they are also giving suggestions to PCB on how they could add Abrar against South Africa.
Some of the highlighted tweets are,
“Since Usama Mir is suffering from fever and Fakhar from a knee injury, Pakistan should cash in this opportunity to bring Abrar Ahmed.”
Some were considering that the leg spinner would cast the spell in the upcoming match if he joined the team.
However, it is being said that Fakhar Zaman was a part of the net session practice yesterday, but it is expected that he could be ruled out.
Pakistan has four matches ahead in the World Cup and success in all matches can lead Pakistan to the semi-final, which could be difficult for the team which had remained unsuccessful in the last three matches with India, Australia, and Afghanistan.
