World Cup: England, Sri Lanka to fight for second win
England and Sri Lanka will look to boost their world cup campaigns by getting their second win in the tournament when they face off on Thursday.
The match will be played in the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Begaluru and will begin at 1:30 pm.
Both countries have had underwhelming beginnings to the tournament, losing three out of four matches.
Sri Lanka’s lone win came against Netherlands while England have only defeated Bangladesh.
The conditions in Bengaluru have favoured batsmen throughout the tournament and the trend isexpected to continue today.
