World’s top 10 richest people in 2023
There is a remarkable group of people who have giant wealth in a society. These outstanding leaders have reached the pinnacles of success and joined the group of the world’s richest people.
Business magazine Forbes has released this year’s list of world richest people.
The richest person in 2023 was a well-known French businessman named Bernard Jean Etienne Arnault. He has 211 billion dollars in wealth. He is the only person on this list whose wealth is greater than $200 billion.
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, placed in second on this list after purchasing Twitter, managing it through several challenges, and then changing its name to X. He previously held the top spot on this list. Elon Musk has $180 billion in wealth.
The chairman of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani, is also included in the list’s top 10. In this list, he is listed as ninth. The total wealth of Mukesh Ambani is $83.4 billion. Nearly all of the wealthy people in the world have seen a decrease in wealth compared to previous year.
Amazon chief Jeff Bezos is third in the Forbes list of the world’s richest people. His wealth is 114 billion dollars.

Arnault oversees the LVMH empire of 75 fashion and cosmetics brands, including Louis Vuitton and Sephora. The 74-year-old featured at the third spot in 2022, with $158 billion net worth.
Musk topped the list for the first time in 2022 but stood at the second spot this year, following his acquisition of Twitter in October last year, which helped sink Tesla shares. Musk owns an estimated 74% of the company, now branded as X.
Jeff Bezos, the founder and CEO of Amazon, the world’s largest e-commerce and cloud computing company, stood at the third spot this year, followed by Larry Ellison, the most successful investors of all time Warren Buffett, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, co-founder of media company Bloomberg LP - Michael Bloomberg among others.
