A woman gave birth to sextuplets (six children at the same time) at a hospital at Khidmat Khalq Foundation hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday, in which five were stillborn (born dead) while another was under treatment in the nursery.

The hospital management said that Rekha, a resident of Umerkot City, delivered three boys and three girls.

They went on to add that all the infants were born prematurely as the doctors had to operate a cesarean section on the woman due to medical complications.

However, the mother was out of danger, the hospital managment stated.
