Seema, Anju, and Gao Fang – women crossing borders for love has been a recurring news in recent weeks. But not all such tales are true.

However, the prank went to far when police saw the post and scrambled to provide security to the woman. However, when they reached the house the woman was supposedly staying in, they found no one.

The police responded with an FIR and immediately arrested Muhammad Gulab.

The arrest provoked a strong reaction from locals who said that police officials should only take action after approval from their superiors.

The locals added that social media posts are often made in jest so local representatives should be approached before making arrests.

The news of women finding love across borders began with Seema Haider, who left her children behind to be with Sachin, a man she had met on PUBG.

Seema said she has converted to Hinduism and had no plans of moving back to Pakistan. She was cleared of espionage charges by Indian security agencies.

Days later, news reports emerged that an Indian woman named Anju had crossed into Pakistan to meet Nasrullah, a man she met on Facebook, in Dir.

Reports then said that she had married Nasrullah and converted to Islam, but Anju later denied them.

A few more days on, Chinese woman Gao Fand crossed into Pakistan to marry Javed from Lower Dir.

Sources told Aaj News that Fang has converted to Islam and taken up Kiswa as her Islamic name. Security has been provided to her in by KP police.
