Terrorists assault Waziristan police station, loot ammunition
A police station in Wana, South Waziristan, was assaulted by terrorists on Monday night.
According to reports, around 50 to 60 terrorists descended on the police station, exchanged gunfire and made off with arms and ammunition stored in the compound.
One of the attackers was killed and one policeman was injured in the exchange of gunfire. The attacker’s corpse was shifted to FC Camp.

The attackers came were armed with rocket launchers, hand grenades and light weapons and forced the the force on duty by breaching the police station’s boundaries.
The area has been cordoned off, and a search operation is underway. The police station is now under FC’s control.
