The firing incident that took place in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) long march was strongly condemnable, the military’s media wing said in a statement on Thursday.

Earlier PTI Chairperson Imran Khan was shot in the leg when shots were fired at his container in Wazirabad during the ‘Azadi March’.

He sustained bullet injuries and according to the police, the suspect who opened fire on Imran Khan’s container has been arrested.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), while condemning the incident, said that they pray for the speedy recovery of the PTI chief and other injured.
