Banners against Imran’s long march put up in Rawalpindi
Banners appeared overnight in Rawalpindi against the PTI’s long march before its arrival in the city. The banners are attributed to the civil society in the city against the protest and sit-ins planned by Imran Khan’s party.
The banners, put up on key thoroughfares including the Muree Road, called daily shutdowns an obstacle that was having an adverse impact on people’s lives. From businesses to schools, everything has been affected, it said.
Another banner called for an end to the protests and sit-ins, calling such processions the biggest obstacle in the way of the country’s development.
