Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday said that he has been closely following Noor Mukadam murder case from day one and termed it a "horrifying" incident.

He was taking calls from the public on Sunday when he answered a question about Noor Mukadam murder case via telephone.

"I must reiterate that no one is being saved in this. No matter how powerful the assailant's family is or whether he thinks he is a dual national and has American citizenship, he is not going to be spared if found guilty," he said.

"It is a heinous case and it has shocked the nation, given its impact. I assure the nation that the accused will not escape the law and will be brought to justice."
