The Supreme Court (SC) on Friday has directed overhauling of Pakistan Railways unnecessary and incompetent employees working in the department.

During the hearing of case against mismanagement in Pakistan Railways, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Gulzar Ahmed remarked that the department has full of incompetent employees. “The employees are not loyal to their department,” he added.

The chief justice has also expressed anger on the statement of Railways secretary, saying that the Railways department, its engines and trains have failed to perform.
