PIA flight carrying protective equipment from China arrives in Islamabad
A special aircraft of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) carrying another cache of protective equipment from China reached Islamabad on Monday.
Chairman of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Lieutenant General Muhammad Afzal received the equipment.
The protective goods include 15 x-ray machines, 119 ventilators, 200 thermal guns, and other materials.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman NDMA said more equipment will also arrive from China to fight the Coronavirus pandemic. He said Pakistan's testing capacity will likely be reached to 40 thousand daily in the coming days.
