Govt decides to bring new NAB amendment ordinance
The federal government has decided to introduce a new ordinance for the National Accountability Bureau (NAB)
Prime Minister Imran Khan has already formed a committee to complete the task.
According to details, the old NAB ordinance will expire tomorrow and the NAB Ordinance could not be extended due to non-convening the session of the National Assembly.
After which the government and the opposition are consulting on the NAB amendment law and the government has decided to bring a new NAB ordinance.
The committee will comprise of Law Minister Farogh Naseem, Asad Umar, Babar Awan, Pervez Khattak and Shehzad Akbar.
The government has started the process of drafting a new NAB ordinance and Prime Minister Imran Khan has formed a committee on the new ordinance.
