Farogh Naseem takes oath as Federal Minister
Barrister Farogh Naseem has sworn in as the federal minister at a ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on Friday, President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi took oath from him.
Barrister Farogh Naseem, who stepped down as Federal Minister for Law to represent Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa in the Supreme Court in a tenure extension case has been reappointed as Federal Minsiter today.
Yesterday, the Islamabad High Court had granted an extension in tenure for 6 months to Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Bajwa.
The court further instructed that the parliament should pass legislation on the matter within six months.
