Provincial ministers and members of the provincial assembly held separate meetings with Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar at his office and apprised him about the problems as well as development schemes relating to their constituencies. The chief minister issued instructions for the solution of problems. Talking on this occasion, Usman Buzdar said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is continuously working to introduce real changes in the country. He reiterated the commitment to transform Punjab as an exemplary province in accordance with the vision of the prime minister and assured that parliamentarians genuine work will be done. The government was run through one-man show and consultation with elected representatives was totally ignored in the past but the incumbent government has given complete respect to the assembly members, he added. He added that past governments economically paralyzed Pakistan for the sake of their personal interests. The country was ruined by destroying every institution, regretted. He maintained that Pakistan has started moving towards economic development due to the hard work of the PTI government.

This government is removing past hurdles one by one to facilitate the people, he said. The foundation stone of a prosperous Pakistan has been laid under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and a new example has been set by introducing reforms in a short span of time. He reiterated that government does not believe in hollow slogans but practically delivers to the people and added that the PTI government has given particular focus to the provision of basic amenities to life to the masses. The opportunity of serving the masses is being fulfilled as a noble cause, he added. The chief minister said people were deceived in the name of development and their fundamental problems were ignored in previous tenure but the incumbent government has adopted a solid strategy for fulfill the needs of the people. The development and prosperity is the fundamental right of every citizen and backward areas will be brought at par with the developed cities of the province. No area will remain deprive of development in our tenure as the PTI government has diverted the journey of development towards backward areas. The assembly members should regularly visit markets for giving relief to the people, the chief minister concluded. Those who called on the chief minister included provincial ministers Shaukat Ali Lalika, Muhammad Jehanzeb Khan Khichi, Muhammad Akhlaq and PMAs including Muhammad Ijaz Hussain, Rai Zahoor Ahmad, Muhammad Ali Raza Khan Khaqwani, Firdous Rahna, Shamim Aftab, Zafar Iqbal, Ghulam Ali Asghar, Sabrina Javed, Abida Bibi, Farah Agha, Shaheena Kareem and others. Chief Whip Syed Abbas Ali Shah and high officials were also present on this occasion.

CM takes notice of rape-cum-murder of a girl child: Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has taken notice of rape-cum-murder of a girl child in Aimanabad and sought a report from RPO Gujranwala. He directed to take strict legal action against the criminal and further directed to provide justice to the bereaved family at every cost.

CM extends felicitations to new office-bearers of EMRA: Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has extended felicitations to Asif Butt, newly elected president of Electronic Media Reporters Association and other office-bearers on their success. He hoped that new EMRA body would come up to the expectations of the journalists’ community while making EMRA an effective platform.
