Asad Umar has taken oath as the Minister for Planning and Special Initiatives.

President Arif Alvi administered the oath to him at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtyar who was earlier holding this portfolio has been appointed as the Petroleum Minister.
