Defense Minister Pervez Khattak, who is heading the government's negotiations committee, has said the dialogue with Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman and opposition for peaceful end of sit-in in Islamabad is continuing.

Talking to media in Islamabad, he said the government is in close contact with all opposition leaders.

However, he said the opposition's demands for Prime Minister’s resignation and new elections are unacceptable.
