Nawaz Sharif suffered a minor heart attack last night
ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif suffered a minor heart attack last night in Services Hospital in Lahore.
Sharif who was already under treatment in Services Hospital in Lahore for low platelet counts complained about sharp pain in his chest last night.
A heart specialist has been appointed to look after former premier right after the troponin-i test of Sharif came in positive. However, angiography of Nawaz couldn't be perform as he is already been suffering from low count of platelets.
The health condition of the former premier has deteriorated since he was rushed to Services Hospital earlier this week with critically low platelet count in his blood.
An accountability court granted Nawaz bail in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case yesterday, and the Islamabad High Court is set to hear an appeal for the disposition of the prison sentence against Nawaz in the Al-aziziya reference today.
