Will write to foreign parliamentarians on India terrorism: Ch. Sarwar
LAHORE: Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has announced to write letters to American, British and European parliamentarians on Indian terrorism and atrocities in Kashmir.
Addressing a ceremony to honour martyrs of police departments and later talking to media in Lahore on Sunday, Chaudhry Sarwar said that after losing at political front India is planning to turn Kashmir into Valley of blood bath, but Pakistan is in support with Kashmir.
“We will expose Narender Modi's real face in front of the world, political, religious parties and the whole nation is united against terrorism. Terrorists have been dealt with strictness,†he added.
He said that to make the future of our country secure and ensure its peace and security, thousands of martyrs sacrificed their lives and for that no respect and honor for them would be enough. Sacrifices of Punjab Police will always be remembered.
The Governor Punjab said that sacrifices made in the war against terrorism by armed forces, Intelligence agencies, police, and other law enforcement agencies are unprecedented. There is no match to this bravery in the world.
He said we acknowledge that America is a superpower and it spent billions along with allies to establish peace in Afghanistan but couldn't succeed but armed forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan by establishing peace in Pakistan has set a new example.
Ch. Sarwar said that we want to convey to America that they should listen to Pakistan's narrative and implement it because, without the help of Pakistan, America cannot establish peace in Afghanistan. We are already playing our part in the Afghan peace process and we will continue to do so, he added.
He said after Pulwama Attack India met with a humiliating defeat on the diplomatic front and now we will not let India succeed in its plans instead we will expose its true face in front of the whole world for that I will write letters to Parliamentarians of the UK, EU, and the US to unveil atrocities and terrorism of India on Kashmiris and will go on to lobby against India so India will have to stop atrocities and resolve Kashmir Issue. The offer to mediate Kashmir Issue between Pakistan and India has hurt India deeply.
The Governor Punjab said Pakistan always talked about peace and even today we want peace with all neighbouring countries and instead of war we are in favour of solution through dialogues, but India should not mistake our desires for peace as our weakness, we all are united and to protect our borders we will not hold back from any sacrifice.
He said that after tasting defeat at diplomatic front India turned up violence in Kashmir and to cover issues in occupied Kashmir India is carrying out attacks at LOC. The world must raise voice against Indian atrocities, violence should stop in Kashmir. We want to resolve the Kashmir issue through dialogues and needs to draw the attention of the international community towards Kashmir.
Ch Sarwar that we need to fight against poverty and scarcity, our enemies should know that we can't be defeated. Security Agencies played a pivotal part in the eradication of terrorism; our security forces despite limited resources at their disposal did this job. Today we pay our homage to martyrs, the bravery of our men is unprecedented in the whole world and we want to strengthen institutions of national security.
He said we will help families of martyrs and all the issues of police will be dealt on top priority by Punjab government and all institutions including police will be made free of political influence. At the end of the ceremony, prayers were made for martyrs of armed forces, police, other department and for martyrs of Kashmir.
