Four terrorists killed as FC repels attacks
The security forces have killed at least four terrorists of outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) after repelling two separate terror attacks on check posts near Pak-Afghan border in Kurram and Mohmand agencies on Saturday.
Media reports while quoting Frontier Corps (FC) spokesman said that militants stormed the security forces' check posts with small and heavy weapons in Gorsal One, Batho and Torabara areas of the Baizai tehsil of the Mohmand Agency but no casualty was reported.
Security forces befittingly retaliated to the attack and caused huge casualties to the militants. The exchange of firing lasted for about 30 minutes, the spokesman said. He suggested that terrorist have been targeting different areas in both the agencies besides security check posts for two days.
He said that four terrorists of TTP were killed in retaliation when they attacked check posts in Mohmand and Kurram Agencies adding that a large number of terrorists have been repulsed. The spokesman did not provide any details of casualties on the part of security forces or civilians.
