Pakistan Ambassador to the United States Aizaz Chaudhry says Pakistan is determined to root out terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and will not let its soil to be used against any country.

He was talking to a group of journalists, who met him in Washington.

Aizaz Chaudhry said peace in Afghanistan is directly linked to peace in the region. He said Pakistan is willing to work with stakeholders for restoration of peace in that country.

He said Pakistan has rendered tremendous sacrifices in the war against terror, which has also harmed its economy. However, in view of the successful Operation Zarb-e Azb and ongoing Operation Radd ul Fasaad, peace has been restored in the country and foreign investors are heading to Pakistan for investment.

The Ambassador said Pakistan’s negative image was a tale of the past and the international community is now appreciative of Pakistan's role in war on terror.-Radio Pakistan
