LAHORE: Security forces foiled a major terror bid in Lahore on occasion of Easter, which is to be celebrated on Sunday, an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement said on Saturday. 

According to the reports, a 'special' intelligence-based operation (IBOs) was carried out by security forces near the Punjab Housing Society in Lahore. One suspected militant was killed and and one woman was arrested from the scene, ISPR said.

During the raid, four soldiers including two officers sustained injuries.

Suicide jackets and explosive material were also recovered from the militants, reports claimed.
