Facilitator of Lahore blast sent on 30-days physical remand
LAHORE: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday handed over the alleged facilitator of the Feb 13 suicide bombing in Lahore to the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on 30-days physical remand, Aaj News reported.Â
According to the reports, facilitator of Lahore blast,  Anwaarul Haq presented before ATC. During the proceedings, a public lawyer plead the court to send the suspect on 90-days physical remand. While sending the alleged facilitator on 30- days remand, the court ordered him to appear before court on March 20th.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had announced in a press conference on Friday evening that facilitator of Lahore blast,  Anwaarul Haq has been arrested.  The suspect's confessional statement was also aired during the briefing.
Acting on information provided by intelligence agencies, security personnel on Saturday raided Haq's house in Mamond tehsil of Bajaur Agency, security sources said.
Haq's two brothers Khalilullah and Hameedullah were taken into custody during the raid.
