Minor maid case highlights major problem, Chief Justice

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar hold sou moto hearing of minor maid Tayyaba torture case on Wednesday, Aaj News reported. 

As reported, the chief justice showed concerns over child maids and said,"no policies regarding child maids are unfortunate".

Justice Saqib remarked that the court would take action against accused couple for torturing Tayyaba, raising a thought provoking points that who is responsible for these child maids? Where do they come from? Is there any policy regarding this?

Asma Jahangir said, "No investigations have been made for the lady who provides child maids to people, adding that,"Parliament requires to take major steps in this regard", reportedly.

Sources revealed that the chief justice also added there is option of non bailable arrest warrant for the accused Maheen Zafar and her husband and adjourned hearing for three weeks.
