Model Town incident: LHC reserves verdict
A Lahore High Court full bench on Monday reserved its verdict in a Pakistan Awami Tehreek's petition seeking Model Town incident's judicial inquiry be made part of its private complaint pending before an anti-terrorism court.
Through its complaint, the PAT sought trial of prime minister, Punjab chief minister and others on charges of killing its workers in the model town incident.
PAT's counsel Rai Bashir Ahmad argued that the Punjab government with mala fide intention restricted publication of the report of the inquiry held by Justice Ali Baqar Najafi. -Business Recorder
