Veteran actress Shamim Ara dies in London at 78
WEB DESK: Veteran Pakistani film actress Shamim Ara breathed her last this morning in London, 6:15 PST, at the age of 78. Ara suffered from long term illness.
Born as Pulti Bai, Shamim Ara started her career in the decade of 50s and is known to have many hit movies under her bag.
Her first movie was Kanwari Bewa in 1956. She was later on featured in movies like Saheli, Qaedi, Naila, Devdas, etc.
She was prasied immensely for movies Bhabhi and Salgira.
She was also a producer and a director. She directed the movie called Playboy.
