WEB DESK: The irony is not lost in all of us, as recently a leaked video of the veteran singer, Ali Azmat surfaced media, in which he highly criticized the young artists of today.

Ali Azmat was seen taking a hit directly at one of the Jaswal brothers, and was not too happy with the way he has been famed over his high vocals.

In the video, it is reported that Ali is seen saying, 'You don’t become a star just like that, by screaming and shouting. You have to compose songs and compose them continuously.'

He then goes on to allegedly take a dig at singers who have ventured into acting. “You can’t make music for a couple of months, do a TV serial instead. It becomes a hit and you become a star. That’s not how it works.”

The singer cum actor also took a hit on Jaswal's Coke Studio's hit number, 'Sammi Meri Vaar', saying that it isn't Jaswal's original song but a folk one which is completely destroyed.

The Na Re Na singer is then reminded that this is how the industry works, but responds saying that he’d rather stay out of it if such is the case.

As the video leaked, internet blew up and everyone was talking about it. Jaswal's fans were none too happy about it and the singer himself took it to social media if the story is a joke or is there some truth to it.

Jaswal has now responded to the leaked video, through one of his own. He thanked the fans for their support, and says that,"Ali Azmat has his own opinion and should not try to make it the opinions of others."

Here is the video of Umair Jaswal on his official Facebook account.

Ali Azmat is yet to own or reject the video.
